What are the benefits of Skin Needling?
SkinPen® is a TGA approved, state-of-the-art micro-needling device designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars on the face, neck and décolletage. What does the treatment involve?
During your appointment, your skin is cleansed and you have a choice of applying topical anaesthetic (this will be left on the skin for 10minutes) prior to treatment. A sterile device is then used to vertically penetrate the skin with microneedles that are 0.25mm to 2.5mm in length. The dermapen’s speed and depth is adjusted depending on the skin concerns being treated. Treatment takes approximately 20 minutes per area and feels like a vibration on the skin. On average, patients are red for 24 hours. Mild shedding may occur 2-3 days post-treatment.

How many treatments will I need?
1 treatment every 4 weeks is recommended, with optimal results being achieved after 3 sessions.

Pre and Post Care Information
It is advised to avoid unnecessary exposure to heat, cold, and sun for up to 48 hours post treatment.
