What are the benefits of a Jessner Peel?
Jessner Peels are most effective at reducing the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, and acne scars. Designed to reduce the appearance of irregularities on the skin’s surface and reveal a smooth, revitalised texture through regenerating and resurfacing the skin. This peel will exfoliate the outer layers of the skin via a controlled wound response. When the skin responds to this inflammation, it stimulates the growth of new cells, resulting in a healthier skin appearance. A mild sunburn like redness will appear, along with dryness, flakiness & peeling over the following 7 days. This is normal and all part of the process.

What does the treatment involve?

1. Skin preparation includes the use of chosen active serum (Retinol, Vitamin C or Brightening Serum), to be used a minimum of 2 weeks before treatment.
2. Double deep cleanse of skin
3. Degrease (astringent)
4. Vaseline to sensitive areas of skin (under eyes, brows, under nose & lips)
5. Application of Jessner Peel
6. Multiple layers of peel if applicable
7. Neutralise peel if applicable
8. Finishing products & SPF

How many treatments will I need?
Recommended every 4 weeks for optimal results.

Pre and Post Care Information
Avoid make up and touching face for remainder of the day
No exercise or activities that produce sweat
Protecting the skin with SPF and gentle products only
No actives or exfoliation for 5-7 days (retinol, vitamin C, scrubs)
Do not pick at peeling skin
Moisturise more than normal to combat discomfort
