What Is Rejuran? The Gold Coast Skin Treatment Everyone’s Talking About

If your skin’s been feeling a bit tired, textured or just not as fresh as it used to be, Rejuran might be exactly what it needs. It’s one of our most-loved treatments here at That Face Place—and for good reason.

This isn’t your average skin booster. Rejuran is all about repair. It works on a cellular level to strengthen, hydrate and rebuild your skin barrier over time. Think of it as long-term skin health, not a quick fix.

So, what actually is Rejuran?

Rejuran is made from polynucleotides—tiny fragments of DNA derived from salmon (yes, really). Before you ask—no, it doesn’t smell fishy! These little fragments are incredibly effective at helping your skin heal and regenerate naturally.

We’ve seen amazing results across the board: smoother texture, fewer fine lines, better hydration, and that juicy glow we’re all chasing. And what’s so great is that it suits most skin types—whether you’re in your 20s working on prevention, or later in life and wanting to strengthen and refresh your skin.

Where does it work best?

We offer three tailored options at the clinic:

  • Rejuran Face – your go-to for overall glow, hydration, and smoothing
  • Rejuran Scar – perfect for acne scarring or rough skin texture
  • Rejuran Eye – gentle enough for the under-eye area, helps reduce dark circles, puffiness and fine lines

Not sure which one’s right for you? That’s what we’re here for. We’ll walk you through it and personalise the plan to suit your skin goals.

What’s the treatment like?

It’s a microinjection-style treatment, and we use a numbing cream beforehand to keep things comfortable. The treatment itself doesn’t take long, and while you might notice a few tiny bumps or some redness afterwards, most people are back to their normal routine the next day or so.

We generally recommend a series of 3–4 sessions, spaced about 2–4 weeks apart. This gives your skin time to do the work—building collagen, locking in hydration, and strengthening from the inside out.

So, when will I see results?

Some people start to notice subtle changes—like plumper skin and improved hydration—within a week or two. But the real magic tends to happen around that 4–6 week mark, when collagen production kicks in. And because Rejuran works by healing and regenerating, the improvements keep building over time.

It’s also one of those treatments that plays really well with others. If you’re already doing things like microneedling or laser, Rejuran can actually boost those results. We often combine it with other treatments depending on your skin concerns.

Why we rate it so highly

At That Face Place, we’re about treatments that actually support skin health—no fads or quick fixes. Rejuran fits beautifully into that philosophy. It’s evidence-based, it delivers visible results, and most importantly—it helps your skin do what it’s supposed to do, just better.

If you’ve been thinking about how to take your skin to the next level, this could be a great place to start. Whether you’re dealing with texture, dullness, or just want that fresh-faced bounce again—we’d love to chat through whether Rejuran is the right fit for you.
