Makeup-Free Arrival: For optimal treatment results, we recommend arriving at your appointment without makeup. If you do have makeup on, we will remove it from the areas being treated.

Treatment Process: The treatment involves the precise injection of hyaluronic acid into targeted areas using small needles or cannulas. Various techniques are employed to ensure smooth and uniform distribution of the product, which may vary based on your needs.
Pain Relief Options (if necessary): Numbing cream, ice, dental block, or gas (subject to availability) can be used to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
Discussion of Risks, Complications, and Side Effects: Your nurse will discuss all potential risks and contraindications prior to treatment. While there are minimal side effects, such as local swelling, redness, bruising, and discomfort, rare complications may include allergic reactions, granulomas or nodules, vascular damage, and very rarely, blindness.
Volumising treatments cannot be administered to individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, currently unwell with an infection, have taken acne medication in the last 3 months, or have a history of autoimmune diseases or multiple allergies. Additionally, these treatments should not be performed on individuals with a history of keloid scarring or those who are currently taking blood-thinning medications without the guidance of a healthcare professional.
It’s important to note that as with any injectable treatment, there may be a slight risk of infection or delayed healing in certain individuals. If you experience any concerning side effects or complications, please contact us immediately for advice.
After your treatment, it’s essential to follow proper aftercare to ensure optimal results and minimise any potential side effects. Here are some general precautions to observe:
Apply Ice/Cool Compress: To reduce swelling, bruising, and discomfort, gently apply an ice pack or cool compress to the treated areas.
Avoid Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup to the treated area for at least 4 hours after your treatment. This allows your skin to recover and reduces the risk of irritation and infection.
Avoid Certain Activities: Avoid lying down or engaging in strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment. These activities can increase swelling and disrupt the treated areas.
Delay Facial Treatments: Postpone any facial treatments such as laser procedures or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks following your treatment. This gives your skin time to heal and reduces the risk of irritation or complications.
Avoid Touching Your Face: Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area. This helps prevent displacement of the product and ensures the best results.

When Will I See Results?
