What does the treatment involve?
Your skin will be examined and a history of your skin issues including your skin type will be taken into consideration. Based on this information the correct peel for your skin will be chosen. Before you begin your TCA peel you will need to use the Dermacetic 21 Day Prep Kit (containing a cleanser, Vitamin C, retinol and hydrating SPF). This helps to prepare your skin for the strong acids and aids in reducing downtime.
First, your skin will be cleansed and degreased, then the peel will be applied. Occasionally two or more layers will be used. After the treatment, a soothing cream will be applied to the skin to be left on for 8 hours post-treatment.

How many treatments will I need?
Recommended 3 treatments spaced 5-6 weeks apart.

Pre and Post Care Information
No makeup/touching face for remainder of day. Gently apply a cold compress to the treated area as needed for any burning or irritation associated with your treatment. Make sure to avoid excessive heat on the treated area and direct sun exposure of any kind, as well as tanning beds and self-tanners to the treated areas for 4 weeks after treatment.
