Prior to your first treatment, our doctor will consult with you to assess your suitability for anti-wrinkle injections and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

The procedure involves a small amount of the prescribed product being administered into the selected facial muscle/s using a very fine needle. The injections may sting for a few seconds, but no anaesthetic is required.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

On average, between 3-5 days, with optimum results visible at two weeks. Results typically last for three to four months. Regular treatments will help to maintain results.

To ensure that you’re satisfied and optimal results are achieved, it is recommended to attend a review appointment and assessment at two weeks to check muscle activity and aesthetic outcome. Your next treatment will be in three to four months.

One week prior to your appointment please avoid taking blood-thinning medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oil.

Please advise your clinician if you:

Have an auto-immune disorder
Are regularly taking anti-coagulation therapy (e.g. Warfarin)
Have a severe metabolic or systemic disorder

Avoid touching the injection sites for 4 hours after treatment
Avoid ‘facing-down’ or local pressure treatments (e.g. massage, facials) for 2 weeks post treatment
Avoid strenuous exercise and heat (e.g. saunas) for 24 hours
