Rejuran for Skin Repair

Cosmetic Injectables Clinic

If you’re looking for a skin treatment that supports long-term repair, not just short-term glow, Rejuran could be worth exploring. Often described as a skin healer, Rejuran is known for its ability to improve texture, elasticity and overall skin quality using a unique ingredient called polynucleotides (PN).

Unlike traditional injectables that focus on adding volume or freezing movement, Rejuran works on the deeper layers of the skin to support regeneration and restore function — making it a great option for skin that needs more than just surface-level help.

What is Rejuran?

Rejuran is a skin booster treatment developed in Korea. It contains polynucleotides, which are DNA fragments derived from salmon — chosen for their high biocompatibility with human skin.

When injected into the skin in small amounts, Rejuran helps to:

  • Stimulate collagen and elastin production
  • Improve hydration and elasticity
  • Support skin cell repair and barrier function
  • Refine rough or uneven texture over time

It’s often recommended for concerns like:

  • Post-acne scarring
  • Thin or crepey skin
  • Redness or sensitivity
  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

How is it Different from Other Skin Boosters?

While hyaluronic acid-based skin boosters focus mainly on hydration, Rejuran goes a step further by helping the skin actually repair itself. Over a series of treatments, skin often becomes thicker, calmer and more resilient.

That makes it a great option for people who:

  • Have tried other treatments and want something more regenerative
  • Experience recurring inflammation or barrier sensitivity
  • Want to improve skin quality at a foundational level

What is the Rejuran Treatment Like?

At That Face Place, Rejuran treatments are performed by trained cosmetic nurses following a full consultation. Small amounts of Rejuran are placed just under the surface of the skin using fine needles.. You may experience some light swelling or small bumps immediately after treatment — these usually settle within 24 to 48 hours.

Results are gradual, typically noticed after a few weeks as the skin begins to repair and regenerate from within. Most clients see best results after a course of 3 to 4 treatments spaced a few weeks apart.

Is Rejuran Right for You?

Rejuran can be a great option if you’re looking to:

  • Heal and strengthen your skin, not just hydrate it
  • Improve scarring or uneven texture
  • Support ageing skin without dramatic changes
  • Take a gentle, evidence-based approach to rejuvenation

Our team will always assess your skin type, history and goals before recommending any treatment. If Rejuran isn’t the right fit, we’ll guide you toward other options like PRP, PRF or skin needling based on what your skin needs most.
