HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
-
Results can last over 2 years.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Collagen stimulator helps to correct skin depressions, such as in skin creases, wrinkles, folds, scars and helps combat skin ageing.
- Temple Hollows
- Cheek Hollows
- Nasal Labial Folds
- Cheek Depressions
- Marionette Lines
- Chin Folds/Wrinkles
- Jawline
HOW MUCH WILL I NEED?
The number of treatment sessions depends on various factors, such as your needs and severity of the area you want corrected. At your initial treatment, your Nurse will determine how many follow-up treatments may be required.
When collagen stimulators are first injected, you may notice an immediate plumping effect which gives the appearance of a full correction by the end of the treatment session.
TREATMENT PREPARATION:
- If you have had dermal filler in the area you want treated by the collagen stimulator you must wait 3 months after that treatment.
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Have an ice pack ready – apply an ice pack (wrapped in a clean cloth) to the treated area to minimise swelling and/or bruising.
-
Avoid direct contact of the ice with the skin.
-
Give yourself facial massages – thoroughly massage the treated area in a circular fashion for 5 minutes, 5x/day for 5 days after treatment. This helps to evenly distribute the product and promote a natural looking correction.
-
Minimise sun exposure until any initial swelling and redness have disappeared.
-
If you have a laser treatment, chemical peel or any other skin procedure based on active dermal response – please wait 2 – 4 weeks.
